One of the best ways to create change is by using affirmations, which lead
to positive thinking. Affirmations are positive statements that you say to
yourself over and over again. Our conscious mind is the vehicle of thought. Our
subconscious mind reacts to these thoughts and the more often they are repeated,
the more they become integrated into our reality and lead us to make decisions
that will allow them to be manifested. (from my other site: Brennie's Dreamscape's Affirmations).
The key to successful affirmations is the verbiage. The point is to send the message to our
subconscious mind that we already have or are that which we wish to have or to
be, that it is already a part of our experience. Also it is important to keep in mind that if we are having a hard time creating something in our lives, it is due in large part to a subconscious belief or beliefs that are creating the opposite reality for us, such as financial freedom. If we believe on some level that we aren't worthy of financial freedom, than those subconscious beliefs will dominate the conscious beliefs, so it's very important to create affirmations to change these or negate these beliefs, along with the affirmations for creating the desired outcome.
For instance, if I am to write an affirmation for financial freedom, but have been struggling with finances all of my life, then it's quite likely that I have some subconscious belief that is keeping me from creating financial freedom. Therefore I would create two affirmations that would go something like, "I am free of all limiting beliefs and thought patterns that have kept me from achieving my goals" in addition to, "I am experiencing financial
freedom."
Some people will tell you affirmations can be written or thought quietly in your mind, but I am going to counter that notion. I feel it is incredibly important to state your affirmations out loud because then you will hear the words not only with your conscious hearing but also your inner ear, which will reverberate to your subconscious mind.
So in creating affirmations, the following guidelines need to be applied:
1. Speak your
affirmations out loud.
2. Use present tense only - stating it as though you already have or are what you want.
3. Use positive words only. Any
negative words such as, "not", "no", "never", etc. can have a negating effect.
4. Incorporate positive feelings by conjuring the feelings of how you will feel once you do have what you want.
Soon I will be adding some affirmations for the most common things people want to create, such as health, financial freedom, love, etc. But in the meantime please feel free to use affirmations I have already created on my other site at Brennie's Dreamscape's Affirmations.
